I’m excited to announce my candidacy for State Representative for Rochester Ward 1, Strafford District 19. I was born in NY, but raised in Puerto Rico, where I attended school and received a BA degree in English and a Commission in the US Air Force. While on active duty I worked as a Police Officer my first three years and last year and a half as an Equal Opportunity and Race Relations Officer.
I have been a resident of NH for 25+ years and have been involved in many local and political and civic organizations throughout the Seacoast area. I am a proud mother of two grown sons who are both graduates of Exeter High School and of UNH and Keene State College.
I am running for office because we need Constitutional Conservatives like myself, who will work tirelessly to protect your God-given freedoms as spelled out in our Constitution. And to guard against government tyranny. During my military service, and later on after separating from the Air Force, I had the opportunity to live in other parts of the world, as I followed my former husband’s military career. This gave me a better understanding and appreciation for the values that made our country great and compels me today to protect those same values for the next generation.
I love this country and our state and I’d be honored to earn your vote for State Representative
“When the people fear the government, there is TYRANNY. When government fears the people, there is LIBERTY.”
-Thomas Jefferson
My Priorities
Safety & Security
We must maintain law and order to keep our community safe. I stand behind our police and first responders.
Smaller Government
Less bureaucracy helps to limit spending and lower taxes. I will always fight to protect the NH Advantage of no income tax and no sales tax.
Education
Parents’ have a fundamental right to direct their children’s upbringing. I support school choice so that every family can decide where their child will excel and achieve excellence in education.
Right-to-Work
Granite Staters should not be forced to join a union in order to work and have money taken out of their paychecks to finance a bureaucracy that they don’t want to support.
